Jumping for Joy

I know, I know, it's been a while since my last post. Forgive me.

I have been crafting up a storm! I am busy preparing for my first ever 'fleamarket'! it's going to be taking place this Saturday at a school in Roodepoort. I am so excited to finally be showcasing my work and hopefully making a few bucks :) Even more than this, I'm hoping to recieve commissioned requests for wedding stationery and the like.

Trust you are all enjoying the weather (wherever in the world you may be),

Stationery Drawer - Sweet Pink

As promised, I took some pics of the second stationery drawer box I made. I much prefer this one, but it could also just be the colour :) (it's pink!)

I found it easier and faster to put together, and made some changes to the measurements. Will be teaching both this and the upright stationery box in a class on Sunday, so I wanted to make sure I would know what I was doing! hahahaha!

Anyway, here are the pics:

Last night I worked hard on finishing a project for the FREE DIGI CHALLENGE over at Shirleys2Girls on Paper Craft Planet. I recieved a freebie digi sheet of stamps and was inspired by one particular image.

All I thought when I saw the image was , "This will look great on a set of note cards".

So that's what I made, a set of matching 8x8cm notecards with envelopes and a cute box to store them in.
I couloured the main image with crayon, used my cuttlebug for the embossing, a Martha stewart lace punch, and my own templates for the box and cards.

What do you think?

Stationery Drawer

Hello Everyone!

It's the first day of Spring here in South Africa and the weather is simply stunning! we've even been told to expect temperatures going up to 28 degrees by Tomorrow! Lovely!

Anywho, I've been dabbling in making up my own template for another stationery box...this time with a drawer. Below are pics of my first attempt, I dont think it came out too bad but I made a second one last night that I prefer. Havn't had the chance yet to take photos of that one but will do so tonight and post tomorrow. The drawer pulls out by pulling on a piece of ribbon I adhered to the bottom of the drawer, I decided that a brad would be too bulky and press against the front flap of the box.

Comments would be appreciated!
